Exclusive to WFCO Converters, Power Centers, and MBAs feature new Patent Pending technology that will DETECT Lead Acid or Lithium Ion batteries and AUTOMATICALLY change the charging profile based on the battery. RV owners will no longer need to change out an entire converter or operate a manual switch to properly charge batteries.8700 Series converters provide a highly reliable nominal 13.6 volts DC with or without a battery, and no extra filtering is required. WFCO's three-stage battery charging results in longer battery life, and is totally automatic. Nominal voltage output modes are a 13.2 volts DC RANGE "float" mode, 13.6 range "absorption" mode, and a 14.4 volts DC range "bulk" mode, which ensures longer battery life. Short-circuit and reverse polarity protections provide further reliability and peace of mind. Every model is FCC Class B compliant, which means that the converters do not cause interference with televisions, radios or other signals. On WF-8712 and WF-8725 models up to three 20 amp branch AC circuits can be installed. Four branch DC circuits are available with LED bulbs for each DC circuit, to illuminate and identify open circuits.
