El endurecedor extra lento 209 está formulado para usarse con la resina WEST SYSTEM Brand 105 para aplicaciones generales de revestimiento y unión en condiciones extremadamente cálidas y/o húmedas o cuando se desea un tiempo de trabajo prolongado a temperatura ambiente. Proporciona aproximadamente el doble de tiempo de trabajo que el Endurecedor Lento 206. Forma un sólido transparente de color ámbar con buenas propiedades físicas y resistencia a la humedad para aplicaciones de unión y recubrimiento. No está destinado a revestimiento transparente. El endurecedor de tamaño 209 SA se adapta para su uso con resina de tamaño 105 A.
