Esta versátil manguera, la Shields Serie 250 ShieldsFlex II, se adapta a una amplia gama de usos. Con tamaños de 1/2" a 8" y una alta resistencia a la permeación, es ideal para tomas de agua cruda, tomas de bombas de achique, descargas, respiraderos de tanques de retención, drenajes de imbornales y más. También es adecuada para aplicaciones de escape húmedo que requieren curvas o tramos más largos, y cumple con los requisitos de la norma SAE J2006 de doble resistencia al ozono. El caucho sintético de la manguera es resistente a productos químicos suaves, anticongelante y agua salada, y su espiral de alambre reforzado evita el colapso bajo presión y permite curvas moderadas. Sin embargo, se deben evitar las curvas de radio estrecho.
