Esta alarma de motor de embarcación, detector de sobrecalentamiento del motor, es un detector de dos terminales, sin polaridad, normalmente abierto, que se cierra cuando la temperatura del motor de la embarcación alcanza los 200 °F y activa un dispositivo de alarma visual y/o audible.

Es un MPT de 1/2" que se instala en un orificio tapado FPT de 1/2" en el motor.
