High cycle Lithium-Ion (LiFePO4) battery designed to fit into existing lead acid Group 31 battery scenarios such as powering trolling motors for fishing boats.

More Power in Less Space

The Xantrex Lithium-Ion Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery used UL1642-certified cells. Equipped with redundant safety features, it is the safest in the market today. Specifically designed to withstand the harsh operating environments of mobile and marine applications, the battery lasts up to 4,000 cycles compared to a traditional lead acid or AGM battery, which typically lasts 400-500 cycles. It offers exceptional power density and is also available with a heating blanket option if the installation is outside the main cabin.

Sleep Mode: Xantrex Lithium-Ion Iron Phosphate batteries self-discharge at 12.5% State of Charge (SOC) per month during regular use. After 10 consecutive days of inactivity, the battery switches to a low-power mode, reducing the self-discharge rate to 3% SOC per month. Any charge or discharge activity will reactivate the battery, resetting the 10-day counter. This extends the battery life during periods of non-use.

Sleep Mode

Reduces self-discharge to 3% from 12.5% State of Charge per month after 10 days of inactivity, enhancing battery life.

High Temperature Rating

Capable of being charged up to 55°C/131°F allows extreme environment recharge without damage to the battery.

Connect to the Xantrex App to see the battery status from your smart device.

Lithium Iron Phosphate vs. Lead Acid

With the advances in technology, you can get more charge cycles and more energy per cycle from a LiFePO4 battery than a traditional AGM or Gel Cell lead acid battery.
