You can use it on either the left or right side of the doors or cabinets. Mortise mount for a sleek and polished look. For inset or overlay mounting, the package version includes flat and 90 Degree striking plates. Latch installs with two #6 RH fasteners. Two number 4 FH fasteners must be used for the striking plates (not included in the package).
