RECON™ SW 60” Trolling Motor with Simrad Freesteer Joystick Remote

The FreeSteer™ joystick remote is truly unique. 1.5-degree steering adjustment lets users travel with precision in almost any direction. Get near-instant response with best-in-class steering speeds and move anchor positions freely by executing diagonal jogs in 8 directions.

This RECON trolling motor is designed for saltwater use and has a 60" shaft.

Move Anywhere Onboard

Designed to be carried anywhere on board, FreeSteer™ is small and lightweight. The remote even features an LCD color display and configurable buttons, so users don’t have to rely on a chartplotter, instead making adjustments from anywhere onboard.

Quiet Operation

24V/36V brushless motors provide all the power users need with none of the noise. RECON™ moves a vessel through the water quietly, getting right on top of the target without spooking them.

Streamlined Installation

RECON™ is designed with simplicity in mind. The mounts feature industry-standard dimensions, meaning users can upgrade to RECON™ from an existing trolling motor without having to drill any new holes. A simple riveted latch system means it’s easy to deploy and stow once onboard.

Low Maintenance

RECON’s tough design means users can fish anywhere, but it also means the trolling motor will last longer, with less maintenance. Simard’s proprietary corrosion-resistant coating is built for harsh environments and heavy salt. Even RECON’s all-in-one cable boasts a UV-resistant coating.
