Sea-Dog 60° rail base fittings are engineered for strength, corrosion resistance, and long-term performance in marine environments. Constructed from investment cast 316 stainless steel, these fittings are designed to mount stainless tubing with a 0.049" wall thickness and an outer diameter of 7/8" or 1" depending on the model.

Each fitting includes set screws (when applicable) for secure attachment and requires a 1/8" Allen wrench for installation. These bases mount using flat head fasteners (not included) and are ideal for rail systems, handrails, and other tubular marine structures.

  • Part Number 280601 / 280601-1: 60° round base, fits 1" O.D. tubing, base diameter 2-3/4", fastener size 1/4" FH, weight 0.49 lb
  • Part Number 281600 / 281600-1: 60° rectangular base, fits 7/8" O.D. tubing, base size 1-3/4" x 3-1/16", fastener size #10 FH, weight 0.48 lb

These rail base fittings are ideal for mounting stanchions, bow rails, and custom tubular frame structures on boats and docks.
