Ronstan's Series 20 High Load Lashing Block is specifially designed for very high load applications where standard ball bearing and all purpose blocks are not adequate.

Featuring Grade 2205 Stainless Steel sheave and ball race and Grade 316 stainless steel ball bearings for high static and dynamic loads. This block is ideal for vang, halyard, backstay and other highly loaded lines. 

Features:

  • Glass fiber cheeks, stainless steel sheave, race and ball bearings
  • Max line diameter 1/4" (6mm)
  • Capable of high Dynamic and Static loads to 660 lbs (300kg).

This block, specifically designed for modern high-performance foiling, skiff and multihull classes, suits any applications where high loads are experienced.
Typical applications include high load vang purchase systems on Moth and Lasers, halyards on skiffs; cunninghams, outhauls and backstay purchase systems just to name a few.
Such a high load rating is unique for a block of this size, its impressive strength-to-weight ratio is a result of clever design and the selection of the right materials, such as glass fibre reinforced nylon cheeks, a high-grade stainless-steel sheave, ball race and balls.
• Suits up to 4mm (5/32") lashing

• Frame:/Cheeks: Toughened, glass fibre reinforced Nylon
• Load straps and ball bearings: Grade 316 stainless steel
• HHL sheave and bearing race: Grade 2205 stainless steel, Balls: Grade 316
• Frame/Cheeks: Toughened, glass fibre

* Block must be lashed through hub. The supplied lashing line must have three passes through head and hub to achieve rated load. MWL & BL are dependent on the strength of lashing. Knots, splices, stitching will generally have a lower BL than the line itself.
