Thermostat housing sleeve 806992 is for use in MerCruiser 3.0L, 5.0L, 5.7L, 6.2L, 7.4L and 8.2L sterndrive and inboard engines made by General Motors having standard cooling systems. The sleeve supports the thermostat in the thermostat housing. The sleeve is made with polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), a thermoplastic polymer, to withstand the temperatures in the engine and deliver long service life.
