Marine-Tex Epoxy Putty is a high-strength, two-part structural epoxy designed for permanent filling, bonding, sealing, and rebuilding repairs. Its thick, creamy consistency stays in place on vertical and horizontal surfaces, making it ideal for marine, automotive, industrial, and household projects.

Marine-Tex creates a durable, waterproof repair on fiberglass, aluminum, steel, wood, ceramic, glass, masonry, and many rigid plastics. Once fully cured, it can be sanded, shaped, drilled, tapped, and finished with most common paints and coatings.

Application Instructions

  1. Prepare the surface: Remove dirt, oil, grease, paint, and other contaminants. Sand the repair area to create a clean, textured bonding surface.
  2. Measure: Combine five parts epoxy resin with one part catalyst or hardener by volume.
  3. Mix: Blend thoroughly on a broad, flat mixing surface until the color and consistency are uniform and streak-free.
  4. Apply: Press the mixed epoxy firmly into the repair area and shape it as needed.
  5. Cure: Allow the repair to cure completely before sanding, drilling, painting, or placing it into service.
