The Sea Dog Marine's Mainsail Reefing Hook mounts to the gooseneck or boom to give an easy way to secure the tack of your mainsail for reefing. The mainsail is the primary sail of a sailboat. Its location is on the after side of the mainmast. This control line guides the sail loop to the hook and automatically clasp into place. Be sure to have this on board!
