Our universal motor pump converts to fit all brands of hydraulic trim tab motor pumps. It is available for 12, 24, and 32 volt systems. Our 12 volt universal motor pump unit can be used to replace motor pumps in all single cylinder, 12 volt insta-trim systems. This pump unit comes with a housing, reservoir, motor, pump, solenoids, and brass hose fittings, already assembled, allowing for easy installation. 1 pint of oil, funnel and 2 stainless steel hose clamps are also included.
All of our solenoids are custom designed for boat leveler company. The coils are sealed with epoxy to prevent shorting out due to humidity. The solenoids lock the tabs in any position, eliminating drift back. Barb type hose fittings provide tight and secure connections.
The hydraulic pump used in all insta-trim systems is made of aluminum, stainless steel bolts, and steel gerotors. The pump and motor are securely bolted together with stainless steel nuts and bolts and can be easily dismantled if needed. Using the built in pressure relief valve, each pump is separately tested to 400 p.S.I., with tolerance held to less than .0001. When the trim tabs are fully extended, the unit only circulates oil rather than stalling out or trying to pump additional pressure, thus never exceeding 16 amps. Therefore, eliminating wear and tear on motor, switches, wiring, hydraulic lines and hydraulic cylinders.
The motor used in all insta-trim systems is a powerhouse with coated wiring and a built in thermo overload which protects against temperature and amperage build up. The motor is made up of 1 3/4 stack windings and is mounted on top of the hydraulic pump eliminating oil leakage. The motor is mounted with stainless steel nuts and bolts, and can easily be disassembled. Our motors come in 12 volt, 24 volt, and 32 volt.
All our brass fittings are custom made to ensure a tight, leak proof, connection.The brass hose fittings ( 1/8" pipe thread), connects to the solenoids on the motor pump. The hydraulic hose attaches to the brass hose fitting and is sealed with our stainless steel hose clamp.
The outside housing and reservoir are made of high impact abs plastic and mounts easily with two stainless steel tapping screw (10 x 1). Built in oil reservoir mounts allow for easy access to the motor pump. Our cover helps protect the motor from occasional wash downs. Each housing comes with 2 (#10 x 1) mounting screws, 2 flat washers (#10) and 2 rubber grommets. The reservoir comes with 1 reservoir plug installed.
