Propeller nut kit 840383A2 is use on HD (Heavy Duty) 1.25" prop shaft when installed on Mercury Sport Master, Torque Master I and II, Fleet Master and Verado 5.25" diameter gear case. Also for use on MerCruiser Bravo I XR and XZ sterndrives, Sport Master and shorty Sport Master Bravo I XR Sport sterndrives. Torque the prop nut to 55 foot pounds (75 Nm). See your owner's manual for installation instructions, the Flo-Torq hub, thrust washers and prop nut part numbers to best fit your engine or drive.

  • Kit includes locking prop nut, 1.5" washer, 1.5" cupped belleville washer and 13/16" spacer
  • Do not operate your engine or drive without all propeller hardware in place
  • To aid future propeller removal, grease prop shaft splines with Mercury 2-4-C or Mercury Special Lube 101
  • Produced by Mercury Marine to our stringent specifications to maximize the performance of your Mercury and Mariner outboard or MerCruiser sterndrive
