The Analytic Systems BCA Series battery chargers provide high-performance charging power for one or two-bank battery systems. Designed to be versatile and dependable, these units can function as either a precision battery charger or a dedicated DC power supply, supporting a wide range of industrial and marine applications.
The recently updated design incorporates a Power Factor Corrected (PFC) input stage, allowing the unit to run continuously from 85 to 264 VAC at 50 or 60Hz with a Power Factor of 0.99 or better from 10% to 100% load. To ensure the safety of nearby sensitive electronics, heavy input filtering reduces EMI to extremely low levels. These units are built for rugged duty, featuring a heavy-duty extruded aluminum chassis, ventilated panels with thermostatically controlled cooling fans, and all stainless steel fasteners.
Reliability is at the core of this series. Built-in protection features include LED status indicators, an input circuit breaker, thermal shutdown, current limiting, reverse polarity connection protection, and output short circuit shutdown with automatic recovery. These chargers serve as a direct drop-in replacement for previous models in form, fit, and function, making upgrades seamless and efficient.
