Analytic Systems introduces the IBI (Ideal Battery Isolator) series, designed for multi-bank battery systems to allow all batteries to be fully charged from a single alternator while maintaining complete electrical isolation between battery banks or between a vehicle and trailer.

Traditional battery isolators often suffer from significant voltage drops, but this Ideal Diode technology utilizes MosFet Transistors and advanced control circuitry to solve that problem. It reduces the voltage drop across the isolator to a mere 160 millivolts at 200 Amps of charging current and essentially zero volts at low current. This ensures that the full power of the alternator is applied directly to the batteries for a complete recharge every time.

While specifically engineered for use with an alternator, these isolators are highly versatile. They can be used to convert a single-bank battery charger into a multi-bank charger or act as a pure diode between a vehicle and a trailer or other remote load.
