Discounts apply only to a qualifying engine purchase after military pre-approval. Standalone parts and accessory purchases do not earn this engine discount. Other Mercury promotions may offer different savings; compare eligible offers with your dealer before choosing.

How to Receive Your Discount

Contact a participating Mercury dealer before purchase. Confirm the engine, qualifying stock, intended use and military eligibility.
Arrange pre-approval using the required documentation. Allow 3–5 business days for review. Work with the dealer to confirm the correct Mercury submission process.
Complete your purchase while approval is valid. Approval is honored for 60 days or until the program ends, whichever comes first. The discount is applied at the time of sale.
Have your selling dealer complete the paperwork. The qualifying sale must be completed by December 31, 2027; registration and rebate submissions are due by January 15, 2028.

Military Documentation Requirements

Documentation depends on military status and must be accepted for Mercury pre-approval before the purchase.

Active-duty and honorably discharged former service members: Mercury lists a Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), recent paystub, or Delayed Entry/Enlistment DEP form. Confirm acceptable documentation for your circumstances with the participating dealer.
Retired service members: DD 214, NGB 22 or other supporting documentation.
Qualifying immediate family: a death certificate verifying death in military conflict dated 1991 or later, a Record of Casualty Notification Actions dated 1991 or later, or an official military condolence letter dated 1991 or later. Allied service members' families should provide the applicable armed-forces documentation.

The selling dealer can explain how to submit the documents through Mercury's program process.

Engine Eligibility, Warranty & Exclusions

Applies to qualifying new, unused and unregistered 30–425 HP FourStroke repower engines sold direct to dealers from Mercury Marine. Boat-package engines and engines originally sold to a boatbuilder are excluded.
Eligible engines are limited to available new dealer stock. Backorders do not qualify.
Pacemakers, CPOs, Avator, MerCruiser and Mercury Racing engines are excluded, as are previously registered engines and donations.
Commercial, camp or resort, guide and outfitter registrations, and engines on Angling or Sponsorship programs are excluded.
Sales and registrations outside the United States, non-US residents and addresses outside the United States are excluded.
Cannot be combined with any other retail rebate offer. Void where restricted or otherwise prohibited by law.
The standard three-year warranty applies, along with any applicable promotional warranty offered within the program's terms.
