Exceptions / Non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned such as:
- Cut Goods (Line, Wire, Hose, Tubing, Etc.)
- Clearance Items or Close-outs
- Items with Expiration Dates (flares, sealants, etc.)
- Special Orders & Drop-Shipments: Returns from special orders or drop-shipped orders are dependent on the manufacturer's return policies. Most orders are non-returnable or require a restocking fee plus return shipping fees.
- Inflatable Boats
- Outboard Motors
- Life Rafts
- Items Not in Resalable Condition: Any part which has been installed or shows signs of attempting to be installed.
- Hazardous Materials
- Flammable Liquids or Gases
- Gift Cards

Initiating a Return
1. Return Request: Customers should go into their order details and initiate a return. Only returnable items that are still within the 30 day return policy window can be returned.
2. Ship Back Your Item(s): All returns can be shipped to our designated address:

Note: We do not provide shipping labels for items returned to us.
3. Refunds: You will be refunded when the item arrives at the warehouse and has passed inspection.

Warranty Defects
Warranties are solely the responsibility of the manufacturer and the final determination of warranty adjustments rests with the manufacturer of the product. Please contact the manufacturer and follow the instructions outlined in their warranty policy before contacting Freeport Marine Supply. We will make all efforts to assist with warranty claims that are not satisfactorily handled by the original manufacturer.
Damages and issues
Upon receiving your order, please carefully inspect the items and promptly notify us of any defects, damages, or incorrect items. This will enable us to assess the problem and rectify it.
Exchanges
To simplify the exchange process, we recommend initiating a return for the incorrect item purchased and placing a new order through our website. Your return will be processed under the same policies as a normal return.
Refunds
If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund as well. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at sales@freeportmarine.com.
Limitations of Liability
By making a purchase from Freeport Marine Supply, you acknowledge and agree that Freeport Marine Supply is not responsible for any damage or harm caused by the receipt, possession, storage, use, or misuse of the boat parts, apparel, safety equipment, chemical cleaners, or any related items it sells. You further agree that Freeport Marine Supply shall not be liable for any loss arising from the use of its products, including but not limited to direct, indirect, special, and consequential losses. This includes damages caused by delay, damage to boat parts or apparel, or the loss of expected profits. In the event that Freeport Marine Supply is found liable for any damages, you agree that such liability shall be limited to a maximum of the amount you paid for the specific product, item, or service in question. You acknowledge and agree that you bear all risk associated with the receipt, possession, storage, and use of the products purchased from Freeport Marine Supply. It is your responsibility to test the product before applying it or using it in any way. Freeport Marine Supply is not responsible for any damage caused by using the product for anything other than its intended use.
