Utilizing wireless communication between wearable fobs, an engine hub and your mobile device, the 1st Mate system combines boat safety with convenience while providing a safe alternative to the traditional mechanical emergency stop switch and lanyard. 1st Mate utilizes wearable fobs for the boat captain and up to seven passengers. These wearables connect to a mobile device and ensure that if the captain falls overboard, the engine(s) will stop, an alarm will sound and alerts will be sent via the 1st Mate mobile app, thanks to direct integration with the vessel’s propulsion system. For the captain, 1st Mate replaces the traditional mechanical emergency stop switch and lanyard with a convenient wireless fob that can be worn at all times. This wearable captain's fob kit is specifically made for 1st Mate's Mercury SmartCraft Engines, and includes the captain fob, an adjustable wristband and carabiner clip. Similarly, if a passenger falls overboard, the captain will be alerted and given the passenger’s GPS location via the app.

Features

1st Mate Captain's Wearable Fob Kit

For the captain, 1st Mate replaces the traditional mechanical emergency stop switch and lanyard with a convenient wireless fob that can be worn at all times

Works with 1st Mate vessel hub for Mercury SmartCraft Engines

Download the 1st Mate mobile device app on the App Store or Google Play Store

1st Mate Vessel sold separately

Specifications

Brand

Mercury

Manufacturer Part Number

8M6007943

Category

Controls and Rigging / Accessories

UPC

678633121241

https://www.freeportmarine.com/products/mercury-8m6007943-wearable-fob-kit-mercury-smartcraft-engines-captain-fob-wristband-and-carabiner-clip-8m6007943
